dunno about anybody else but i wasnt that impressed with ether of these two sides last night, i know its still early in the season but having seen fax and barrow n fev this season already i think we are in with a shout of the play offs this season think we are as good on the day as any of the top sides.

I totally agree with you there & I did expect more from Batley. Fax will be a tough team to beat BUT I didn't see to much to be worried about there's no reason why we can't beat them if we put a good performance in.

Batley didn't look the same team without their scrum half of last season! The bl@@dy SLOPE what a farce !

I think Carl Harrisons expressions on the tv said bundles about his teams lack of discipline and composure. Thought they did well though to get back at Fax and they looked knackered on 65mins.

Interesting what the Fax pack with the likes of Watene Larder Froggy will do over the season I have never rated Aizue and when he was in NL before we regularly made him look crap Maloney is ok but their pack aint a patch on our 1st choice 6 this season.

i thought batley did well in the first 10mins but then fax took over & scored enough points down the hill to win the game.second half i thought they did what they had to,to see the game out. there wont be many teams who dominate batley on there own turf for 60mins.

it looks an old pack dont it.they looked tired on 65/70mins playing up the hovis hill
it'll be interesting when they play against a young & hungry pack like ours.i just hope we can keep there backs quiet.

First of all, Maloney and Aizue are coming back fromlong term injuries. So don't go skipping ahead and saying "they don't look like much".

Tamghart has gained a lot of praise from my Rhinos friends. Granted last night he didn't stand out, but you can't base it on one game...

And Watene, Wrench and Cherryholme are the sort of players every team needs, cause the defence problems and get the offload away...

its the second game of the season, we started like a train last year scoring tries from everywhere and we went off the boil towards the end so maybe start off slow and get better.

you should really be worried though, we have 2 wins from 2 without getting out of 2nd gear, imagine what we can do in 5th gear.
